I was just kind of blown away today.  A woman came into our Light Therapy Products showroom in Stillwater to get a dawn simulator for her mother.  This is nothing new as  people buy gifts every day.  She told me that her mother is and always has been deaf.  The amazing part was that I had never thought of how perfect a dawn simulator would be in that case.  The whole concept behind a dawn simulator is that the body is woken with light registered by the eyes.  Many models don’t even have an audible alarm.  I was so excited that I made her promise to call me to let me know how her mom liked it!  I’ll post again when I hear something.

I recently sent an LED/DPL unit to a veterinarian.  Our collective opinion was that if the treatment was beneficial to animals,  they would not only tolerate the treatments, but sit still for them.  WE WERE RIGHT!  She just emailed me photos of a little dog that had the light strapped on to speed up healing (she didn’t give me those details) and she said the dog liked it.  The unit becomes warm but not hot, and she thought that the dog enjoyed the gentle warmth.    She is going to continue to use it on animals and send pictures and information as she discovers it.  COOL!

Last week a couple came into our Stillwater MN showroom.  They told me that they were both mental health professionals and that they were doing some research before buying a light box.  They had a few questions and then I left them alone to browse and try the different light boxes.   After about 5 minutes that called me back out to the showroom to ask a few more questions.  They started smiling and told me that they had no intention of buying that day, but that after only 5 minutes, they felt like they had spent some much needed time on a sunny beach.  They left with the Sun Touch Plus and very big smiles.  We love to see people leave Light Therapy Products happy!

As I have said many times, we wouldn’t be where we are today without the help of the fabulous people who have worked with us and continue to work with us.  The following are email comments just from this past weekend!

We realize that we have found some really great people.  We find that when someone is treated well and likes their job, they actually do it better. We have been very blessed.

It’s cold, cold, cold here in Minnesota.  I decided to brave the cold this past Saturday and walk outside.  I got all bundled up and wore my Ugg boots with no socks.  My feet were toasty the whole walk but somehow I rubbed the skin off of the ball of one of my feet.   It was throbbing and burning when I removed my boots.  I put my bare foot on top of one of the panels of the DPL unit and used it for about 30 minutes.  Abra Cadabra!  The pain was gone.  The skin was still pink but was no longer sensitive.  It is the light with a million uses!

I just talked with a customer and she was raving about the Clarity Skin Light!  Her 15 year old daughter was suffering with terrible acne and was on medication.  They purchased the Clarity and started treatment with the blue bulbs.  They saw fabulous results  and in less than 2 weeks have stopped all medication and started using regular facial soap and toner.  Her daughter has been getting complimented on her great skin!  Now they have switched over to using half red and half blue bulbs.  She is still having great success on her face and her back as well.  Both the mom and the daughter are so excited and pleased.  She said that the reduction of the red scarring is not showing teh same immediate results but is improving and the acne has all but stopped.  They are faithfully using the Clarity Skin Light and singing its praises.�
